Syracuse up 1 to No. 12 in College Football Playoff rankings

Syracuse beat Louisville by 31 points on Friday night in front of its largest crowd of the season.
Syracuse (7-2, 4-2 Atlantic Coast) rose to No. 12 in the latest College Football Playoff rankings following a 54-23 victory over Louisville on Saturday.
One team ahead of Syracuse, former-No. 11 Kentucky, lost this past weekend, picking up its third loss of the season. Aside from the Wildcats, every other team in the top-12 won.
Syracuse enters this weekend a 10.5-point underdog as the Orange face No. 3 Notre Dame (10-0) on Saturday in Yankee Stadium.
