High-ranking Syracuse University officials on Thursday will hold a public forum to detail upcoming utility work on the Quad that will start in mid-February.
Pete Sala, the university’s vice president and chief facilities officer, will host the event in the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communication’s Joyce Hergenhan Auditorium, according to an SU News release. The forum starts at 3:45 p.m.
The release did not detail what utility work is planned. Changes in access to Quad sidewalks, walkways and parking will be discussed Thursday, though, according to the release.
Joe Alfieri, director of SU’s Campus Planning, Design and Construction, and Dave Warren, CPDC’s project manager, will also attend the forum.
Included at the bottom of the news release was a section about the university’s Campus Framework project, a 20-year infrastructure plan that includes major projects such as the National Veterans Resource Complex.
The release did not specifically say whether the utility work is part of the Campus Framework.
